A smoothly functioning office with great productivity has a very defined anatomy or design. There actually is a right and wrong way to design an office. In this presentation, we will learn the secret to practice success and the cornerstone principle of design that leads to a successful practice. This principle has worked for thousands of my alumni who have built offices embracing this principle of design.

With an understanding of the importance of dental office design principles, we can turn our attention to architectural zones and examine every element and room within each zone so we can minimize repetitive movement and thereby prevent the musculoskeletal injuries that plague the dental profession. The design of the operatory should minimize repetitive movement and facilitate a very defined choreography between the doctor and assistant in the treatment of the patient.
